Global Perspectives Office
The Office of the Special Assistant to the President for Global Perspectives its affiliated programs are pleased to announce internship opportunities for the Spring of 2009.
The mission of the Global Perspectives Office is to sharpen UCF’s international focus. The office helps advance UCF’s goal of providing international emphasis to curricula and research. In addition, it works to expand the university’s efforts to enlarge Central Florida’s awareness and understanding of the interconnectedness of the global community.
The office coordinates or facilitates the Global Perspectives Distinguished Visitors Series at UCF; regional forums on global issues; an Internationalization Advisory Board; the U.S. Department of State’s two-way television conferencing initiative; the William MacArthur International Affairs Awards Program; and the Lawrence J. Chastang Global Fellows Program. In addition, it establishes long-term perspectives through the co-location of resources to produce research and scholarly publications. It also represents UCF’s president worldwide.
Students are eligible to receive course credit for these internships.
Requirements: Junior/Senior undergraduate/graduate status and minimum 3.0 GPA.
